Awesome but stays the same
Ive been using this app for almost 2 years now and I really like it. However long term use has made me more and more aware of the little things I dont like which I could get over if it wasnt so irritating that they dont update this app. The choice of exercises is extremely impressive and far better than any other app available now. The variations within the available exercises are also just as good. But theres always room for more and I find it ridiculous that in the entire time Ive owned it there have never been any new exercises added to the list. At least you can add custom exercises and build your own workouts. I just wish things like farmers carries, pallof press, trap bar exercise variants, TRX, face pull and variations, and hanging knee/leg raises were in here. It great that you can share your custom workouts with others, have not tried yet but will soon. I also wish there was a setting/preference where I could make it so the apps memory of the last weight used for that exercise is specific to the workout not the exercise (so if Im doing deadlifts itll remember what the last weight I used was in that workout, not the last time I did deadlifts). Alternatively being able to look at (while in a workout) the last several weights used and the date. I use several different gyms and sometimes weights just arent the same or machines have different settings even though their exercise is the same. Also the stage in the workout you do a specific exercise comes into play. I would thing with all these big endorsements (ESPN...) this app would be constantly advancing, not staying the same.
